Day 6 - Las Vegas

We got up and met the Wilsons at 8:30 for breakfast at the Luxor. Food was very good but $22 for two eggs, three strips of bacon and some toast is ridiculous. Add another $5 for coffee.

We drove around to explore. Drove down Las Vegas Blvd. heading toward the stratosphere. Was thinking of going up it again (we did years ago for $5 each) but $22 each dollars just to go up  was a little too pricey for us.

We are going to see Shin Lim tonight at the Palazzo so we needed to scope out where to park for the show. Saw Trump tower, Circus Circus, Winn etc. drove very close to The Sphere. Ended up at the Bellagio. It has beautiful flowers everywhere. Took some picks of an area that was beautiful.

Cindy and I ended up playing video poker at the bar. Once again they comp'ed Frank and Lloyd’s drinks. We played awhile and ended up losing nothing. We continued to walk around found a new poker machine where you play lots of hands at once but we both lost $20. We walked outside and enjoyed another beautiful warm day. Frank and Lloyd went back to the Luxor and Cindy and I visited some of the stores, M&M store, Hershey’s, Coke store. Then we ran into Sonic and Knuckles, our granddaughters favorite characters. They let me video them for a fee.

The girls loved it.  Back to the Hotel until the show tonight. We left the Luxor around 4:30 for the drive to the Palazzo where the show will be. We found a place to eat and it was awesome.

Sugarcane was the name of the restaurant . I had a wedge salad with 3 shrimp, Thought it would be more but was very good . Lloyd had shrimp and street corn. Tasted the corn yum. Cindy had a chicken thigh and some of Lloyd’s corn. Frank had the wedge salad and skirt steak that was very good. I got to have a bite.

We still had a hour and half before the show so got coffee and Cindy and I gambled. Then the show, Shin Lim was awesome. Very entertaining. It lasted a hour and a half . We all enjoyed. Drove back to Luxor where we gambled another hour. No big winners but fun.

One interesting fact, a lady came to the bar and sat by me, and was conversational as we played video poker, was very nice, then all of a sudden security showed up and said she could not be there and they would escort her out. She was a prostitute. Who knew, not me.
